10. Logistic Regression

Logistic regression is a discriminative classifier $p(y|x,\theta)$ where $y\in\{1,\dots,C\}$.

If $C=2$, this is a binary logistic regression, otherwise, this is a multinomial logistic regression (or alternatively, multiclass).
